Services
A warm and welcoming community, we seek to be inclusive and to ensure that all that are welcomed to our services leave having enjoyed the “Richmond experience”.
We have services for all Jewish festivals and weekly services on Friday night, Shabbat and Sunday mornings.
With our vibrant Rabbi our services are thoughtful and melodical and seek to involve all – young and old. The monthly Anim Zemirot squad (held on the [first] Shabbat of each month) aims to ensure that we have a steady stream of future young participants to our services. We are aiming too at ensuring that the post barmitzvah and batmitzvah children continue to be involved with the services.
We are proud of being a modern Orthodox community South of the River Thames. Whilst our services have their own traditions, Richmond is a constantly evolving community with religious traditions also being absorbed from those communities where members grew up whether that be New York, Transylvania, Finchley, Stanmore or Richmond itself.
Visitors to Richmond are always welcome. On Friday nights Maariv is usually held at 7.00pm. Shachrit on Shabbat mornings is at 9.30am.
Please contact the synagogue office for times / to book a place for services during the festivals and for other events.
We look forward to seeing you,
The Rabbi and Honorary Officers
